Human beings are created from dust and clay in the Bible and from water in the Qur’an...."
This needs to be clarified....In the Quran---the human being is created through different components. The physical body is molded into shape from wet clay/mud (water and clay mixed) then it is dried to "sounding clay" surah 15, verse 26,28(Yusuf ali) ---The body is animated by "God's breath" or "Ruh"(arabic) (Judaism also has similar concept--"Ruach") --Ruh is the life giving force and is translated as "spirit".(surah 15, verse 29. apart from this, human beings have a "soul"/"nafs" (nefesh -Judaism). In the Quran
the soul was a singularity, from which was made its mate and from there many were scattered....(surah 4, verse 1..."oh mankind! fear your Guardian Lord, who created you from a single nafs(soul), Created out of it her mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds)countless men and women...."kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05417233769650767575noreply@blogger.com
