Is Darryl Alone?

Syndicated religion columnist Terry Mattingly had his latest column published in the Johnson City Press today, Disbelief Reaches to Pulpit. Mattingly summarizes the Daniel Dennett/Lisa LaScola paper that has created much fun on my blog. My favorite line from Mattingly's article:

“Darryl” the Presbyterian still calls himself a “Jesus Follower,” but adds: “I reject the virgin birth. I reject substitutionary atonement. I reject the divinity of Jesus. I reject heaven and hell in the traditional sense, and I am not alone.”
