There are four panels of the AIDS quilt on display today and tomorrow.
On Thursday, December 1st, the First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street in Johnson City, will hold a World AIDS Day service at 7 p.m. The public is invited and a free-will offering will be taken for the HIV Network of Johnson City. More details on Facebook.
Stop by the Culp Center until 8 p.m. today and 6 p.m. tomorrow. Watch the film, "A Closer Walk" at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Culp Auditorium.
Volunteers from the FMLA (Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance) made this possible.
That is Laura Terry of Multicultural Affairs and Sterling and Sara of FMLA. Sara played a big part in getting this going including being willing to be interviewed on TriCities.com.
