Dr. Paula Fredriksen, The Aurelia Professor of Scripture Emerita at Boston University, is my guest. She talks about her new book, Sin: The Early History of An Idea and traces the development of this idea from Jesus to Augustine.

I'll be sure to listen. Professor Fredriksen is an author from whom I have learned a great deal about the historical Jesus ("From Jesus to Christ", for example). Scholarly but accessible.
