Dan Seals of formerly of England Dan and John Ford Coley teamed up with Marie Osmond in the mid 80s. It was his first number one hit and Marie Osmond's second number one. Remember Paper Roses? I played this one a lot when I did afternoons for KIZN in Boise and later at KRPM in Seattle-Tacoma. I never noticed then as I do now the Montana-Tennessee connection.
Sadly, Dan Seals died in March of this year.
