Concern Not Panic

Each hour there are updates regarding Swine Flu. Daily Kos provided a good post today with helpful links regarding precautions.

Store a two-week supply of food and water. Have two weeks of your regular prescription drugs at home. Keep health supplies on hand, including pain relievers and cold medicines.

For more details, visit www.cdc.gov/swineflu or call 1-800-CDC-INFO.

But don't take it out on the piggies.

  2. Snad

The Democrats are to blame for everything, including everything that happened during the Bush administration. Didn't you know that?

It's in the basic fabric of the universe.

  3. I know. I love that about the Democrats. "America's Sin-Eaters!"

  4. This is obviously all a response to my several pork-related posts just after Easter.

But even so, Here. I. Stand. I shall not repent of my love for pig. If God didn't want us eating them, he wouldn't have made them out of bacon.

    LOL!
    :D

I'm really bummed. Here I am, a perfectly healthy, 45 year old head shop owner who dates college girls, and I feel I should abstain from sloppy, wet kisses.

    Scary, this flu.

  6. Alan - EXACTLY. I know all the arguments for being a vegetarian, and I know they are valid - until a piece of bacon hits a hot skillet.

Kona - If it's any consolation, I understand the dry neat ones are not to be trusted these days, either.

  7. I should confess I stole that from the Simpsons, I think.

Snad, for years I was a lacto-ovo-bacono vegetarian. Srsly.

  9. Here's an interesting headline from the Star Tribune of Minneapolis, about their first suspected case of Swine Flu:

State flu suspect recovering 'without complications'I thought it was bad to consider anyone who has ever cracked a toenail or worse a victim. Now you're a damn suspect!
