ReplyDeleteI like it. Nothing like poetry to expose the party line as morally questionable. I'd like to see similar poetry on behalf of the kids slaughtered in Jericho, on behalf of Goliath (who, I wonder, was just an oppressed indentured servant taking orders from the power structure), etc.
ReplyDeleteP.S. have you dared to notice that many of the stories of mass murder of innocents, supposedly in the name of God, have a similarity to today's indiscriminate terrorists? I find this disturbing; not sure how to resolve it.
ReplyDeleteIf Samson had stayed away from the Philistine girls he would have killed a lot less people and burned a lot less crops. He also could have avoided that haircut.
