What Theologian Are You?

Thanks to Aric Clark for this quiz.

These quizzes are hard because of the way the questions are framed. Also, all the theologians are white males. Nevertheless, I was surprised that Calvin scored as high as he did!

You scored as Jürgen Moltmann. The problem of evil is central to your thought, and only a crucified God can show that God is not indifferent to human suffering. Christian discipleship means identifying with suffering but also anticipating the new creation of all things that God will bring about.

  1. I have been expressly labeled a "Calvinist". %80 :)

What exactly that is remains to be learned, but who am I to argue with technology? :D

Question #2 was a little more loaded than the others.

Doesn't differentiate between physical and spiritual decent, not to mention assuming "Hell" is actually a place and not an analogy Jesus used to describe being left out of God's presence.

  2. You scored as Anselm.

Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

It's kind of odd but I have never read nor heard of Anselm - but apparently we share some of the same theology (and within that we are quite different it would seem also). Maybe someday i will get around to the reading they suggest - man I can't believe I was 67% Calvin - wow.
