I am so proud of my First Presbys. They have decided to make a commitment to become a Green Congregation. We are in the process of evaluating our energy use and environmental impact our congregation makes as part of an awareness project. We are conducting a Green Audit of our congregation and will celebrate being Green in worship on September 2nd. We have put together a Green Team that will work with all committees of our church to see how we can decrease our carbon footprint.
Remember we are the congregation that put Prius in First Priusbyterian Church!
The Unitarian Universalist Church is the greenest of all. They have great resources for gettin' green. Hopefully the PCUSA will catch up.
So Get Green with Goddess!
