  1. A friend who will remain anonymous wrote me in regards to this post:

"Hey, I gotta love somebody whose statement of faith goes:

'I am not a Christian as my Grandmother taught me to give honor to all the revelers.'

Well, Jesus was a party guy, sort of."

  2. I actually liked that dude (if I am not mistaken - he is Native like I am - apparently he knows about Leonard Peltier).

Irregardless, I think he is calling 'a spade' 'a spade' and not trying to sugar-coat the BS that most Christians have a tough time deciphering for themselves...which is sad. He is right about the peacemaking idea, the stance on money in this faith, and the idea that Christians would back them is hypocritical. But it's very funny - Christians will defend Capitalism like they are losing a limb - when in fact they are lopping themselves off for the very vine they were grafted into.

  3. Hi Jason,

I liked what he wrote and felt what he had to say was worth thinking here. I think you are right that he calls a spade a spade.

I read with interest your quest to get some straight answers from the Presbyterians in Canada.

    Thanks for commenting!
