Turning Over a New LEAF

I am liking this organization Lindquist-Environmental Appalachian Fellowship (LEAF).

What is LEAF?

LEAF is a Christian fellowship of Tennesseans whose faith leads them to take action for Tennessee’s environment. Concern for God’s Creation is not a matter of being liberal or conservative, a Republican or a Democrat. We believe people of faith can look beyond such distinctions and do the Lord’s work together.

The Lindquist Environmental Appalachian Fellowship was established by members of Church of the Savior, United Church of Christ, as a memorial to Kathy Lindquist’s deep religious faith and her dedication to environmental stewardship.

  1. Excellent! Thanx, John. That's rant inspiring.
    ;)

See?, Atheists of the world, there really are people that walk the walk.
Please stop judging the Christian faith according to the pretenders you see on TV.
Robertson, Dobson, Parsley and all their pretentious, greed laden kind...they're not Christians.

You don't believe them when they say anything else, why would you believe them when they state their faith?

    Very Brief OpEd...

There are two kinds of Christians basically. The ones like the people at LEAF that feel they belong to Jesus, and the ones like the aforementioned Televanganoids and their supporters that feel Jesus belongs to them.

The sooner the secular world is educated enough on the subject to determine the difference between the two and learn to recognize the liars, the sooner the pretenders, exploiters, and manipulators will be identified, exposed and will begin to disappear.

The real Christian follows the doctrine of Jesus. Learn what that doctrine says.
Once you do, it's easy to see who walks and who talks.
