ReplyDeleteI was living in San Francisco on the day brother Milk and Moscone were assasinated. The godmother of our soon to be born daughter worked for the mayor... it was a horrible, ugly and tragic day. ReplyDeleteJay--I am hoping it will have a wider release. Folks who do have it in their area should go see it so it will go everywhere!
ReplyDeleteRJ--Thank you for that. I looked at your blog and like what you are doing! I added you to my blogroll.
RJ--BTW, I really like the spirituality of Rock and Roll. I did a Saturday night service at my last church called "Rock and Roll Religion." We played "secular" via our own band that spoke to spiritual things. I hope to do something like that again.
ReplyDeleteThe NY Times review says, "'Milk' is a marvel." Readers have given it 4.5 stars out of five.
