Remembering Harvey Milk

Harvey Milk was assassinated on this day, thirty years ago, November 27th, 1978.

  2. I was living in San Francisco on the day brother Milk and Moscone were assasinated. The godmother of our soon to be born daughter worked for the mayor... it was a horrible, ugly and tragic day. We lived in the Haight but within hours the city gathered together to weep and pray and sing in solidarity. Bless you.

  4. RJ--BTW, I really like the spirituality of Rock and Roll. I did a Saturday night service at my last church called "Rock and Roll Religion." We played "secular" via our own band that spoke to spiritual things. I hope to do something like that again.
