Just a question. Are you not in danger of losing your tax-exempt status by advocating for a particular candidate? I had heard and read that you can advocate for issues, but not a candidate. Yet, you are clearly advocating for Obama with the banner of Clergy for Obama.
Adel - A US citizen is allowed to proclaim (or not) their individual support for a candidate. That person's occupation - clergy included, notwithstanding. Of course, you must understand that I am not speaking for John, just as, when he says he supports Obama, he is not speaking for me (although I too support Obama, it is certainly , not due to any influence from the pulpit).
