My wife's youngest sister is in a play in New York City entitled Universal Robots. Here is an audioclip promotion. Hers is the second woman's voice on the promo!
Universal Robots tells the alternate history of the 20th Century, beginning with the invention of the robot through the destruction of Nazi Germany at the hands of the robot army, and concluding with the horrifying robot rebellion against the human race that changed the world forever. A love story, political allegory, and redemptive tragedy...offering a meaty and riveting story of war, love, faith, technology, and the power of art to change the world, for both good and ill."
Read this glowing review:
Though Universal Robots is long (more than 2-1/2 hours), it makes for such riveting drama that I was never aware of the passing of time—I just wanted to see what was going to happen next. You can't ask for anything better than that in the theatre. This is brilliant drama, and deserves to be not just the hit of the summer indie season, but of the fall and winter as well.
My, sister-in-law, Michelle plays "One" and "Sulla."
Get up to the city. The play closes on July 19th.
Now that Shuck and Jive has promoted this play, I am sure Michelle will become famous and can finally quit that dog-walking job.
