Religious Leaders Respond to Drought

We are experiencing a drought in East Tennessee, apparently all over the South. It is difficult for me to discern, being a westerner.

It is always so hot and dry in the West that we often drink Spam.

Nevertheless, water is an issue. Thanks to First Presby, Patti with this report:

Alabama, Kentucky & Tennessee are so dry that: The Baptists have started sprinkling. The Methodists are using a wet wash cloth. The Presbyterians are giving rain checks and, the Catholics are trying to turn wine back into water.

  2. Oh hey now! Don't forget the Lutherans! They've probably been wringing out the sweat from their workshirts and saving that for when the drought gets REAL bad, eh.
