Adam at Pomomusings has been reviewing on his blog the book by Jack Rogers, Jesus, the Bible, and Homosexuality.
He has just finished his review with this last post. In chapter 7, Rogers talks about the next steps for the Presbyterian Church. Adam quotes Rogers:
“If you believe, like I do, that homosexuality is not a sin and is not prohibited by the Bible, then the next question becomes, how do we heal the church of this injustice that has divided us? Clearly, policies, by-laws and church constitutions in some cases, will need to be amended” (109-110).That is what we are about right now. The last time we had this opportunity to amend the Book of Order was 2001.
