March Newsletter and Still Brooding

Our March newsletter (which arguably is better than your average C Minus newsletter) is now on-line!

I am still steamed about that damned C minus. Tatusko received a higher grade than I did. Sure, he has one of those slick wordpress blogs or whatever the kids are into these days. Yeah, I still use blogger. I haven't changed the gross green color either. So what?

Did you know that I received the lowest grade not only of every clergy blogger, but of anyone she has graded yet?!

I'll bet she didn't even read my posts on the rapture, or conversations with Bob, or my sermons.

Local politics, Jeebus, and poking fun at the right wing blowhards are just some of the treasures you'll find here. But she didn't have anything to say about
that!

It is just rude to grade someone you don't even know when they don't even ask you to do so.

A C Minus.

Well, Anna, I am going to grade you. See how you like it.

This is what I think of you and your blog.

Have a nice day.

  1. Arguably? I see no need to argue. Of COURSE it's better than a C-. Harrrrumph!

  2. A fool would argue a C-.

The wise and discerning would grant an A+.

  3. C- did NOT relate to the QUALITY of the BLOG.....Please do not misrepresent the review! :)

John, i haven't finished all the reviews yet....so your claim that i gave you the lowest grade is premature. I think you are placing far too much stock in my grading, which was a way of offering some semblance of comment beyond annotation.

Secondly, I have to point out that this C- over which you are laboring was only for one section of the grading. My comments about your blog were positive in general and that the quality grade was SIGNIFICANTLY higher than some blogs.

I am happy to institute a review in moderating the grade if you really object....which it seems after two posts you do (despite what you say about not caring what i think). :)

Once i have finished the reviews I had planned to do a quality control sweep of all the reviews and i accept your feedback. I have reviewed over 80 blogs in a month - please be gentle! This exercise has been bigger than Ben Hur.

  4. Anne, darling. You obviously have not spent enough time reading this blog to understand that the only thing we really take seriously is stuff that causes people real anguish.

    It's all about lightening up!

  5. Oh sure. C minus is what I see. All my future employers will see it too, and my mother.

    Thanks a lot.

  7. Your comment about me being "one of those kids" reminds me of the famous final line in very Scooby Doo, "I would've gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!"

  8. Yeah, those meddling kids with their transistor radios, eight track tapes, long hair, and Beatles records. What is the world coming to?
